Letter from Helen

Dear Girls

I can't believe that Mosaic 2011 has come and gone for another year and how time flies! It's now less than 12 months to the next thrilling weekend! Get the dates in your diary for 2012, Friday 9th and Saturday 10th November for another God filled weekend, where friends are made, lives are shared and God's heart is revealed.

As an island we are surrounded by water, but as the famous quote says 'no man (or in this case woman) is an island'. We are designed for fellowship, friendship, relationship and that's what Mosaic is about. The Mosaic is not complete without all the pieces planted firmly in it. Each of us is a unique piece in the design of God's plan on this beautiful isle and beyond, wherever we choose to worship and serve, or whether we are just seeking him.

We hope that you will see the joy and hope that building this picture together can create and how we have the opportunity to cascade his love with a sense of togetherness. I hope that you will capture all that Mosaic embodies, that you will realise the Masterpiece you are, the Offer of his love, the Saving grace given to you, the Acceptance of who you are, the Infinite blessing God wants to pour out and find the ultimate Call on your life.

Be blessed Mosaic Girls, I hope you have a wonderful year. See you in 2012 for lots of exciting things!

Much love

Helen xx

CrossroadsCaringForCarers

Crossroads Caring for Carers

This year we took the call to highlight the needs and plight of carers on the island. Crossroads are an organisation that work tirelessly to support the wonderful men, women and children of the island who are putting their own lives on hold, to care for a loved one.

At Mosaic this year, we heard some amazing stories of those around us who are giving of
themselves continuously on a daily basis to bring care and comfort. In recognition of these wonderful individuals, we want to demonstrate the love of God and sow back into their lives by
giving of ourselves to raise much need funds to provide practical support and advice.

At Mosaic many of you gave and pledged to raise funds for this wonderful charity and the Mosaic team will also be looking to hold an event in March 2012 – Watch this space to see how you can get involved too!! If you have pledged to raise funds or want further information, then please contact us at:

CareForTheFamily

Care for the Family

It's always wonderful when God moves in people's lives, but when our great friend Carolyn
Shipstone announced she was leaving her role of Care for the Family representative on the island, she casually commented, ‘maybe someone in here might be my successor’. How God moves, in the front row that year was our very own Maddie Porter, who has taken the baton from Carolyn and is now the National Representative. For more information on how Care for the Family can support you or someone you know please check out their website:
