Living Hope Douglas City is a growing and diverse church family that gathers each week in the Palace Cinema in Douglas, Isle of Man. This short video captures something of who we are; people from different generations, backgrounds, cultures, and life experiences coming together as one family through faith in Jesus Christ, sharing life, supporting one another, and serving our community.

At Living Hope, church is more than a service or a building. It’s a community where people find friendship, support, belonging, purpose, healing, and hope. Our charitable giving and practical initiatives support local and wider community need.  Last year our Mission Fund distributed £96,143 to partner charities and community groups, and we operate three Community Fridges across the island.  We believe we were never created to do life alone, but to live as part of God’s family, sharing life together and serving one another.  This glimpse into the people, culture, and vision at the heart of our Douglas City congregation shows church is more than a place we attend. It’s a family we belong to.  As our congregation continues to grow, we remain committed to building a church culture that values relationships, discipleship, hospitality, and genuine community.

Currently our community is experiencing remarkable growth and our current facilities are unable to meet the increasing needs and aspirations of our congregation, and the wider community.  We have launched a fundraising campaign to complete our new church building : intended as an accessible hub for worship, outreach and local events, any contributions to the remaining 12% required to complete the project would be a direct contribution to the development of a vibrant, inclusive space that will serve not only our church members but also the wider community of Douglas and the Isle of Man.
